Man that double by Harvey is just so frustrating.

To be fair, you just can't let Kelly Shoppach beat you.... Walks will haunt.

Homer had allowed a .923 OPS against in GABP coming into this game.

I don't mind allowing a HR to Davis, that happens. And the Mets announcers said that Harvey is a good hitter.

But that pitch to Harvey belonged in batting practice. Can't throw that pitch to any hitter with two men on base.

Now you know how opposing teams feel about Leake.

That was an intentional walk. To face the pitcher. To whom Homer served it up on a tee.

Reds tablesetters with two quick outs, so the perfecto continues for Harvey.

Harvey @ 41 pitches and a no-hitter/perfect game as well.

Stare at a cookie and then swing wildly at a not even close breaking ball.

Two outs, nice play by Frazier. Mets announcer Darling says Frazier seems more comfortable at first than at third. He may be right.

Ike Davis draws a walk.

Homer knows that Ike Davis isn't that good, right?

Reds coming up against Harvey who has a perfect game going.

Ludwick will lead it off for the Reds. Mets lead by 3.

Ludwick HBP ends perfect game.

Baserunners are baserunners. Anybody with a bat in his hand can do damage. Protecting a late lead where you have do everything to avoid a run scoring, I'd do that. Early in the game though, why add a baserunner?

What are the odds that that Shoppach drives in a run there? He's a career .204/.290/.365 hitter vR. Yeah, he'll take a walk and he's got some power. But the most likely outcome of the PA is an out and the next most likely outcomes are ones that don't involve an RBI.

Yeah, Homer made a really bad pitch. That's totally on him. But the extra run is on Dusty.

Hopefully the bats come alive soon and it won't matter.
