Jackson grounds out to Cairo to begin the 5th inning.

Barney grounds out to Cozart at SS. Cozart is a solid all-around player. Not a lead off hitter, but he's a very good player, IMO.

Samardzija bounces out to Phillips. Quick 1-2-3 5th inning for Cueto.

4-2 Reds after 4 1/2.

Three grounders. Cueto at 61 pitches through 5 innings, should be able to go deep in the game if he keeps it going.

Let's hope he keeps it up!

I do that too. I like to freak out my daughters. I'll call shot after shot and they're just amazed that I'm getting all this stuff right.

Another awful call. Cozart was safe at first base and it wasn't even close. Rizzo was nowhere near the base.

OBM is right, missed call. Still, great play by Castro.

Some of the pitches Heisey swings at makes me LOL. Regardless, nice base hit to RF there. 2 on with nobody out. Oh wait, that's right. SHOULD be 2 on nobody out, but it's 1 on 1 out because Hellen Keller is today's first base ump.

BP seems to have a really tough time seeing the ball out of this guy's hand (not even going to try and spell his name lol).

Re: 8/18 Game 1 Cubs at Reds

3-1 pitch to Phillips was outside. Should have been ball 4, but called strike 2. He then grounded out. With better umpiring, Reds could have the bases loaded and nobody out right now.
