It is hard to believe we have only 27 RBI's from Mes and Hanigan combined this year. Hanigan has 240 at bats but has only 13 RBI. Mes has 154 at bats and has 14 RBI.
Not much production from the catching position at all. |

That's why Valdez is so frustrating. Swinging for the fences when I don't think he can even hit one out of the park. Not to mention swinging at ball 1 first pitch. You have the middle of the order coming up....let them drive the runs in. No idea why he's in the 2 hole anyway.

I give Mes a pass because he is only a rookie and he will get better but I believe Hanigan should be producing more than he is now. But also at this time the reds just need hanigan to call a good game and handle the pitching staff.
