Re: 8/20/2012 Reds at Phillies

Can we officially say that Bruce is on a hot streak?

I'm curious, for as much as you complain about Ondrusek, say in a game like tonight where the Reds are down 7-5 in the 4th, would you really want Ondrusek pitching three innings in a game where the Reds are still very much in the game?

That's been Simon's role this year... coming in games where the starter was booted early. Many of those games, though, the Reds were still in the game. So you don't trust Ondrusek to hold 2-run leads in one inning, but you trust him to go three innings and keep the Reds in a game?

No offense, but that doesn't make much sense.

My bad. I missed that. I missed quite a bit of the game due to playing taxi for my daughters.

Why are Philly fans so vocal against Rolen? I don't get that. If I remember, he was traded to STL after 7 years. Did he demand a trade?

Strike 3 on Paul was low. I'd be yelling at the TV if the Reds weren't down by 47.

X-Man didn't have a chance against that lefty.

Because they are the same people that throw batteries at Santa Claus.

Why not pinch hit Ludwick for him there?

At this point Dusty probably wanted a day off to remain a day off since it's a 6-run game.

I would assume that that situation wouldn't be mop up then.

Reds are 70-22 when they score 3 runs. Now, that's impressive.
