Kinda hard to believe that a team that only won 90 games in a season went wire-to-wire. But the 1990 Reds did it. My bad. They won 91 games that season. Still, that is not an overpowering record.

Why, in a new ballpark like Philly's, do they have to give up a couple of premium seats right behind home plate so they can have a guy with a radar gun, clipboard and McDonald's headset to record pitch speeds?

This may be Arroyo's best game of the year. A bunch of pitch to contact easy outs. His velocity even has "cranked" up to 89 a few times. Against a righthanded killer lineup.
