Re: 8/23/12 - Reds @ Phillies
You guys, I just figured it out. Cairo has secretly been a double agent aligned with the Phillies THIS WHOLE TIME.

Sure enough. But with the way we've walked the tightrope tonight, the last thing I want to do is give them more PA to try to win it.

Not a big deal. Get home and get ready to roll this weekend. Chance to finish off the Cardinals.

Re: 8/23/12 - Reds @ Phillies
Thank god. I thought that was going to be a DP. And I'd have to witness Cairo another inning. Cairo killed this staff defensively tonight. If you can't hit, at least be a plus defender. Like Stubbs.

Reds six hits in eleven innings.
Phils got 14 or 15 depending on which source you read. Tomorrow. |

Re: 8/23/12 - Reds @ Phillies
If they could have got run #4 in the 6th inning.... Oh well. Safe flight, if not a real happy flight....Need to beat St. Louis 2 out of 3.

I still can't believe Horst rather easily struck out Bruce and Ludwick.

Re: 8/23/12 - Reds @ Phillies
Yep, no other "blame" to be put on anyone but the bats tonight. Dusty was hoping for some kind of miracle by resting BP and Rolen on the same night I guess, he almost got it.
