Latos at 27 pitches, 18 strikes. Lynn at 55 pitches, 32 strikes. (Joe Kelly warming in the bullpen, with Lynn due up 1st, Lynn may be taken down for a pinch hitter.)

2-0 Brewers lead Pirates in the fourth.
This is one of the 23 games I identified as "easier" for the Pirates because the Brewers are so weak on the road. If the Crew can win it, that's a nice plus for the Reds. |

Talking about Gonzalez trade to the Dodgers that may happen. Keep in mind both the Cards and Reds play the Dodgers going forward. Cards play them four in LA. |

Now Walt talking about Billy Hamilton possibly joining the team. Walt says under discussion, Walt is going to watch him play next week, lot of factors.
Costas says he has something like 800 steals down there, LOL. Showing Hamilton clips now.. K for Latos. Walt says Devin will be available for post-season even though he won't be back before the 1st. I don't get that, but this is not the time to discuss. |
