Re: 8/24/12 - Reds vs Cards

The Craig homer wasn't a bad pitch. The Molina pitch was.

Second straight game the Reds have blown a 3-run lead in the 6th inning.

I'm really not even mad at the Reds. I just can't stand seeing the Cardinals do this.

Craig homer was in a decent spot but it didn't look like it had much on it.

Very true. And the plus side is we get the Cards bullpen the rest of the night.

It's not, but that home run just seemed inevitable after all the chances the Reds let slip away. One decent chance for the Cards and they blow the doors off. Frustrating.

Cardinals got it handed to them the last time they came into Cincinnati. This isn't 2010. This isn't over yet.

That is it for Latos. His 3rd start of the year against the Cards and he has not made it past the 5th in any of them.

The Craig homer was low out of the zone but in the middle of the plate. Molina's was a first-row GABP homer. Sigh.

Their decent chance came from the heart of their order, not 8-9-1.
