Re: Thursday 8/30/2012 Minor League Updates

Bennett Klimesh began that ugly 7th for the Mustangs, faced three batters and retired none. Ryan Fennell, making his Pioneer League debut, fared a little better. He struck out one of the four hitter he faced, while giving up a hit and walking two. Joseph Housey came in next, also making his Pioneer League debut, faced three batters and retired none. Nick Routt finally put out the fire, pitching 2.2 innings of one-hit, scoreless baseball.
Billings falls 9-6.

Tennessee Smokies only garnered four hits on Thursday night but three left the stadium in a 4-2 win over Pensacola. Donald Lutz a single and a double, Brodie Greene with two doubles and not much else. Pensacola teetering on the edge of playoff elimination now.

They almost have to win all 4 games and then hope.

Donald Lutz hurt himself running to 1st base so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the night off tonight. BTW, he has no business playing LF.

That's not encouraging for his future in this organization. Maybe include him in the package for Upton?
