Nationals still have plenty of pitching without Strasburg. They're scary good when they hit.

Paredes is destined for the DH role next year.

I trust Gio and Zimmerman but c'mon....not facing Strasburg is a huge advantage to their opponent.....Nats are still good and could represent.

Hell no! The last place we want to play them is in a 5 game series. We want the Nats to roll them while we have easy games and hopefully push them out of the WC lead and try to pass the Nats later when they lose Strasburg.

Division winners and WC don't play each other in the first round that are in the same division. I would love to play them in the NLCS.

Where did that come from? Cozy is solid. Janish is all defense was just named defensive player of the month while hitting .200, kinda disputes your theory.

Yep...

Changes to the Postseason format include the following:
-Clubs from the same division will be allowed to play one another in either the Wild Card Game or the Division Series.

When Bruce does that you know he's swinging well.

From watching Janish play shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds during 2011. It is not a "theory", it is a "fact" that anyone who watched the Redlegs last year could have observed. His defense went south as his offensive woes mounted.

I don't care if he was named Playmate of the Month. It doesn't change his performance last year. His offensive woes definitely effected his defense.
