Can't go wrong with that lineup. Votto is only like 80% and wont be 100% this season i guess

Is that a catcher batting somewhere other than 8th?

It's amazing how much stronger this lineup looks via the domino effect of re-inserting Votto into the three spot (and swapping out Heisey for Stubbs).

Would love to see this be the primary playoff lineup - at least 1-6 with Hanigan batting 7th and Cozart 8th.

I have no problem with back to back days off for Cozy....as long as it's communicated as rest and not a benching....but Dusty's gonna communicate that.

Keep Hanny fresh as well. I think Luddy could also use two games off.

Rolen needs to sit for 4-5 games....maybe use for defense late. Looks like his shoulder is acting a bit on his swings....rest seems to help.

I feel like the top six is as perfect as you can get. Looking forward to a good one.

Agreed on all. Having an off-day tomorrow (between home games) will help certainly. I also like that we play the Astros and we have a nice cushion. All that adds up to Dusty being able to give some guys some well deserved rest while also keeping the bench players sharp.

I think that would be the smart thing to do this last month so we can get him ready for the postseason. With Votto back it shouldn't be hard to do.

Stubbs needs 7 days off. Not 7 innings.
