I agree. I'm somewhat more sympathetic to Leake who has less major league experience. But they both are maddening in their inconsistency.

For those who think strikeouts are irrelevant.

Heisey just tapped that one and it's a base hit.

That doesn't happen with a Stubbs K.

Agreed. And I also prefer Leake because of the additional ability to induce grounders more consistently.

Yes, but Leake has to pitch that way more frequently.

There are games when Leake isn't quite the ground ball machine.

It's a great skill, but he needs to be more consistent with it.
