Everybody has ebbs and flows. Bailey's fastball has gotten weaker as the year went along while his slider has gotten stronger.

There in lies the problem. Early in the year, his slider was struggling. Now his slider is killing it and his fastball has declined. You solve that problem and you solve the Homer Bailey issue.

I think a move to the pen to get max "WAR" from Bailey may be necessary, though Dusty won't hear of it.

His stuff is plenty good enough. He needs to trust himself more at home.

My spidey sense tells me Drew will not be a Red after this season no matter what Dusty wants. I think Jocketty will "take care" of it. Bailey and Leake at least provide a +WAR. Stubbs is a blackhole.
