Last game against Astros for...?

Brandon Phillips 4
Didi Gregorius 6
Joey Votto 3
Jay Bruce 9
Todd Frazier 5
Xavier Paul 7
Drew Stubbs 8
Ryan Hanigan 2
Johnny Cueto 1

Didi gets in there, in the obligatory 2 hole for SS.

Like the lineup. Would still put Stubbs in 8 hole, but beggers can't be choosers. I just think he'd walk more there, then sac bunts wouldn't be adventerous anymore.

Also, we play the AL West in interleague next year.

Just curious, but two games in a row off for Rolen. Is he ailing for what?

It has been more than two, I believe. And yes, he has some back issues as revealed on an MRI. Says he could play if he had to.

Back to back lefties, I thought that wasn't allowed?

Actually three in a row and 4 of 5 lefties. Didi, Votto, Bruce, Frazier (RH) and XMan.

Cueto gives up back to back hits to start the game.

Votto should see some pitches today. Fraizer should have some ribeye opportunities.

Excited to see this play out.
