Grandal singles in a run. 3-2 Pads over Cards.

Padres have destroyed Pirates and Cards down the stretch this season.

Good question on telecast, who is the highest drafted player on the Reds' roster. Drafted by any team.

No idea. Latos? Rolen?

Anybody?

Strikeout of Votto was frustrating. Pitch was borderline high. You know Joey would have one hard if he hadn't decided to take that pitch.

In Thom's world Clint Barmes is a 'bat on the ball' kind of hitter.

Latos actually went in the 11th and Rolen 2nd when he was drafted.

It's kind of funny those are also the two most polarizing pitchers in the Reds' rotation right now, although to be fair, they'd be better than most pitchers the Reds have had over the past decade.
