Just in time to watch Phillips take himself out of scoring position with Votto up. Sigh.
You going to any game this week?

Votto doubles to left center. They just ran themselves out of a run.

No tickets yet. Open to it though.

And Phillips should get a -1 runs scored...

I'll be there tomorrow night in the bleachers. In the unlikely scenario are magic number is 1 on Thursday, I'll be there too.

Maybe because he got the last out the other day.

If the Reds are shut down for several innings by Justin Germano, I may lose all faith in their ability to score runs.

The thing I don't get if you are going to play Stubbs why is he continuing to bat him 2nd.

Re: 9/18/12 - Reds at Cubs

A few updates on the playoff races.

Brewers up 1-0 on the Pirates in the 3rd. Marlins up 1-0 on the Braves. Cards just starting.

Several rainouts tonight: Phillies - Mets, Nationals - Dodgers, Blue Jays - Yankees

Because the other alternative is Valdez. Stubbs is probably getting the start tonight as a "thank you" for his catch ending the Marlins game.

I don't usually apologize for Stubbs, but it looked to me like he called out on ball four.

As for Phillips, I don't know who called for that steal of third, but it was ridiculous.

Nasty pitch by Homer to strikeout The Jesus.

I swear, Valbuena is generally awful but he gives the Reds pitchers fits.
