New wild card system has made for a lot of relevant and interesting games last few days of the season.

Yes. Placement matters. Winning the division beats the heck out of a one game wild card situation.

Yankees go to ninth trailing by a run. Brett Gardner picked off to end the eighth.

Yanks with 1 run 11 hits tonight. See, it's not only the Reds who do that.
