Stubhub has Saturday listed at 6:37 PM/ TBA Sunday.

I hope it's Sunday night....I'd love to fly down to see it, but that's the only window I have.

I was hoping for round two to get down there, guess it will have to be when they play the A's in the WS

I hope the Reds remember to wear flowers in their hair during this trip.

With the A's win that means SF will be the only WC team playing at home over the weekend. The late start Sunday makes sense

Not necessarily. If the Yankees win tonight, the A's are the two seed in the AL and they'll be playing in Oakland on Sat/Sun, the same days the Reds are playing in SF.

No if they are the 2 seed they would start in Detroit the 3 seed. So SF will be the only west coast team home this weekend.

Bah, my bad, and you're right; too many scenarios and it's been a long day.

I could care less about a late start Saturday night, but a late start Sunday night would be brutal.

Yup. Not trying to be negative.

I just felt like we matched up better with Atlanta or even St. Louis who will need to expand a lot of energy just to get in. Plus we just have to go out west. Have to split. Really have to win game one because Arroyo just isn't cutting the mustard as a game two starter. Just my internal thoughts.

Late start is also another advantage to the home team.

Late start is no issue, Reds will travel there Friday is my guess, one day to get their body back.

Late start eliminates shadows, advantage batters

Re: The Reds are going to San Francisco...

The way things are looking now if Oakland gets the 2 seed I think the time for the Reds first home game will probably be 6:07 PM ET Tuesday. I think that would be the time because there would only be 2 games scheduled that day and Oakland would host the other probably at 9:37. So that is just a guess but if the Yankees keep this lead that is the time I expect for Tuesday. No clue on when the other home games may be but I am pretty sure that will be the time Tuesday

Re: The Reds are going to San Francisco...

Considering the Reds current offensive slump, I think going into a pitcher's park with strong pitching one their side is a plus. Reds aren't going to score too may runs wherever they play, might as well play in a park where runs are scarce for everyone.

FWIW, SF is not a wildcard team. They won the NL West....

Well Reds being no hit so maybe it will be 2 in a row though not in way we hoped.
