Two separate instances. About 45 mins apart. You would have thought the first fly would have taken the hint. If I catch 2 at the same time I will apply for world class status.

I believe it was after Tony Perez was fired. Valentine and Davey Johnson had been hired as consultants to start the season, which many interpreted as a sign that Perez wasn't going to be manager for long. When he was fired, Johnson became manager and Valentine was hired as third base coach.
