Re: Wild Card game TBS

Baseball-reference.com has their record as 7-51 when trailing after six innings. Not much of a difference.

You play 162 and then get a one-game "playoff" appearance. Only Bud Selig could think up something this stupid.

Re: Wild Card game TBS

My mind is still blown by Simmons bunting with 1st and 3rd and one out. If you don't think he can get a hit then PH for him and use a different guy at SS, but never bunt to get to your pitch unless its a legit squeeze play.

C'mon man...when you slide in by 1 game you could say that about anybody on the team...KOSMOS has been the man in Sept, replacing the futile Furcal and mashing the ball and gloving everything!

He drove in 102 runs and scored 95 and had a .379 OBP to extended inning, all 3 lead the team among qualified players.
