Deceptive stats....he did his best work in games the Cards were leading by 10 runs! His gaudy OBP is due to a ton of walks......look how many times he struck out! I assure you he failed in game situations a ton, just like Pujols last year.

But Matheny over managing again....taking Freeze out there for a runner and awarding them a free out....next there will be a stiff playing 3rd.

They got in by 2 games, he drove in 5 runs twice in games won by 3 runs so those two games alone show he get them in. He had 27 HR this year 18 of them came in tie or one run games and 55 of his RBI has came within a one run game.

He has 1 HR and 12 RBI the whole year in games separating by more than 4 runs.

This error fest is why the 2nd wild card makes the 162 game season mean nothing anymore, anyone can beat anyone in a 1 game playoff.

Yep...the Braves are simply playing bad baseball tonite...bad time for them to do that...and with TED TURNER in the stands for the 1st time since Jane Fonda!
