Meshak for the A's just pitched 2/3rds of an inning and as he was coming off the field he was starting to get emotional.

Wed. He and his wife lost there 1 day old baby. Full term, 8lbs...

I said in another thread that the decision not to pitch Bailey on the road is the most pivotal decision Dusty has made as the Reds manager. I hope it works out but the decision does not make good baseball sense considering Baileys home/away splits.

I agree completely, sure hope he turns out to be smarter that me on this one.

He has had quite a bit of success making tough decisions but this one definitely goes against the odds.
