I know it but figured he'd end up starting since he was amazing once upon a time (and had a couple of good outings in the second half) in a place not so far away.

That shot by Bruce would have been a great welcome for Timmy.

Sure they are. But Timmy or no Timmy, no reason to think Arroyo can't get us through at least one more and that the pen can't do what the pen most always does.
