I never understood defenses shifting on Votto. He's always been a spray hitter.

More detail for those of us in the Mountain Time Zone and at work for awhile would be greatly appreciated...I can switch back and forth to Gameday, but much more detail is often given here. So what did BP do? Steal 2nd and thrown out at 3rd?

Yes. Posey was nonchalant in retrieving the ball and coaxed BP into thinking he had 3rd easy. Play at 3rd wasn't close.
