it did, but 2 jacks in 2 innings is nothing to sneeze at either.

He's been a joke since the day he was drafted. Low-velocity junkballers rarely have a place in this league. The Reds already have one, the odds of them finding two anomalies was rare in the extreme.

I assume Leake is comfortable with Navarro...I really don't care, Navarro shouldn't be playing at all.

The game isn't over yet. With Cueto out, the Reds didn't have much of a choice but to use Leake today. Some things are out of our control. Latos on 3 days rest in back to back appearances, we don't know how he'll respond. And who knows how Arroyo would do in a game 5 on 3 days rest against Cain.

Pagan had eight home runs this year. Blanco had five.

Leake is just lobbing garbage up there.

Zito is pretty junk ball too and he's keeping the ball down especially after his walks. Sigh.

They've done well all season against Cain and Latos has done even better against the Giants. Our chances are really good.

Still a lot of game left to play but can't give up much more or it will get out of hand.

Leake isn't a joke. He's a pretty good 5th starter. He's just not talented enough for this spot.

He's a bullben master. Didn't you see the way he ingeniously yanked Chapman last night? Brilliant.

Oh and Scott Rolen has earned the starting job at third base becuase of his terrifc play in 2003.
