Re: Postseason Scoreboard Watching

As good a reason as any (see thread just created) why we will win tomorrow. Stephen Drew was absolved. So will BP be absolved. Reds on to LCS.

Re: Postseason Scoreboard Watching

Nobody get the neighborhood play called safe more than the Cardinals do, if they are going to call it once they need to start doing it every time because guys are always off the bag.

I have seen that play called @ 2nd more this year than ever before....they used to get a YARD from the bag or drag their feet a foot or 2 away and not get called on it.

I like it better now.

Re: Postseason Scoreboard Watching

Davey went to Zimmermann out of the pen, in 3 games the last month plus against the Cardinals he has a 11.08 ERA. Hope BABIP comes back to earth for him against them.

Re: Postseason Scoreboard Watching

Its amazing how Kyle Lohse has sucked in the majors for around a decade only to over night turn into a lock down SP.

First 292 games:
88-98 with a 4.79 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and a 93 ERA+

Last 63 games
30-11 with a 3.11 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and a 122 ERA+

Re: Postseason Scoreboard Watching

Lohse wanted NO part of LaRoche....he's on his game today. This game is gonna depend on the Cards pen. I hate to see Scrabble EVER come into a game!

Re: Postseason Scoreboard Watching

Clean up hitters can't do anything vs the Cards in playoffs.

2011 NLDS Ryan Howard .105
2011 NLCS Prince Fielder .200
2011 WS Michael Young .259
2012 WC Chipper Jones 1-for-5
2012 NLDS Adam LaRoche .154

Re: Postseason Scoreboard Watching

Chad Tracy just struck out on a ball that hit him, way to know the zone guys and you wonder why you have 2 hits today and 8 runs in 4 games.

Re: Postseason Scoreboard Watching

Looks good for the Nats to win this one...the Cards are pitiful in tie games late...in extra innings: Forget about it!
