They only year in the history of baseball the Cards get in and knock off the Braves and Nats while we get beat meaning its them or the Giants going to the WS as the winner of the worst division in the NL and a 2nd WC team with 5 less wins than all the NL teams.

Well, think of it this way. The Cardinals go all the way to the World Series. They are then knocked off in Game 7 on a walk-off win by whoever's playing the American League side. Imagine that.
