I have to admit I am very uneasy about a few of these picks (below) because there are going to be some tough, tight match-ups that could go either way.

Rootin' for S. Carolina, but I think LSU prevails. Louisville has had a very tough time vs Pitt the last few years, but I'm going with the odds-makers. I went back-an-forth on the Texas-Oklahoma game before finally settling on Texas. I think QB Ash, their offense, as well as their stout defense, pulls this one out over the Sooners. And I hope that pick of Baylor doesn't burn me. LOL

By the time you got your picks in, several of the games were either at, or close to, halftime. So in fairness to all, I won't count those games. That's the bad news. The good news is you went perfect this week at 2-0 and 7-0. LOL

Here's next week's picks:
No problem guy. If you think you're going to start to participate again on a weekly basis I'll add you back into the standings. I think last year we decided that whatever the total number of season games we played were, one had to participate in a minimum of 80%. There's 14 weeks, so we're half way through, you participated in the first few, so you should be OK. Have fun.

Everyone, thanks to that Iowa comeback in the end over MSU, went 4-1. A few went 3-2.

dabvu2498 and VottoFan54 went 9-1 in the other category. And the rest of us went 8-2, with a few at 7-3. Not bad overall IMO.

Hey Buckeye fans! How about that thriller with Indiana? 52-49? Are you kidding me? We escaped. Our defense is not good. 481 total yards given. They are 61st in he nation allowing 402 total yds/game.... 101st in passing yds allowed at 277.7, and 31st in rushing yds allowed at 124.7. B-A-D

I can't I changed my pick from Oklahoma to Texas. Bob Stoops has pretty much owned Mack Brown, and that was simply an embarrassing performance yesterday. Though it wasn't one of our games, I also can't believe what Texas Tech did to WVU. Wow!

Thanks. As long as you don't bet the mortgage money on what I pick that's fine with me. I don't want to be responsible for you losing important money.
I have always liked picking games. Although I never have or will bet on games. It goes back to when I was about 10 years old. I would pick games that the local paper would have in their weekly contest. I won it one week and received the Grand Prize of 10 whole dollars. I had my picture taken with that weeks sponser handing me that crisp $10 bill and was on the front page of that newspaper. (As you can tell not much happened where I came from.) I guess I was hooked on picking games ever since.

I just checked my picks on the pros from this past week. You would think differently about me if you saw those. I think I only got four correct this week.
