Sulbaran in European Championships
Pitching in relief for the Netherlands, he got lit up in the finals against Italy.
http://www.scorekeepers.org/tornei/c...m/games/43.htm As far as I can tell, he made one previous appearance in the tournament and it was a very good start: 7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K. http://www.scorekeepers.org/tornei/c...ames/C/ned.htm Luca Panerati was outstanding for Italy: 13 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 13 K. He didn't pitch in the Reds' system this year, and I vaguely recall that they released him, which is kind of surprising. He apparently didn't pitch anywhere in the minors this year. http://www.scorekeepers.org/tornei/c...ames/C/ita.htm |

Re: Sulbaran in European Championships
I have seen Sulbaren's name come up in a couple of threads. He is in the Royals organization now, part of the payment for Broxton.
