Former All-Star Dave May passed away today. *sigh* Long battle from diabetes and cancer. He was a favorite of mine from the early 70's brewers. RIP.

Kinda crazy but I actually just used Summers name to create a "fake" email account for playoff tickets a few weeks ago.
Champ got a very late start in baseball, not even playing in the minors until he was 25, due to his service in the Vietnam War, during the Tet Offensive.

I remember Champ well, he was a favorite of Sparky's with the Tigers.

RIP, Champ Summers.
