Doug Padilla just tweeted that David Bell was named the Cubs 3rd base coach. Saw it when Jamie Ramsey retweeted it.

I really don't know much about Delino or Griffey so I don't know who would be the best fit. They probably will look outside the organization, or move Riggleman up.

Seems like a waste to me. Does anyone on the Cubs ever reach third base? The Cubbies may want to petition Bud Selig and see if he can be there second base coach instead. =)
