Reds:
Steve Bilko -Minor league slugger who spent the 1958 season with the Reds as a backup. Johnny Kling- Catcher with the great Cubs teams of the early 1900s, he finished his career with the Reds in 1913. Others: Gerald Laird (32) -Replaced Jason LaRue as Cardinal backup catcher that Reds fans love to hate. Mel Stottlemyre (70) -Yankee ace who matched up against Bob Gibson three times in the 1964 Series. Once hit an inside-the-park grand slam. Wes Parker (72) - Slick-fielding Dodger 1B who spent a year doing color commentary on Reds TV. Also appeared on The Brady Bunch as the boyfriend of Greg's math teacher. Jim Delsing -Remembered now as the man who pinch-ran for Eddie Gaedel after Gaedel drew his famous walk.
