Dusty finishes 2nd in NL manager of the year....
Kinda as expected I'd say. Nats Johnson wins it, SF's Bochy second, Dusty 3rd.

Congrats to Davey Johnson. I've always like him. He never should have been fired as the Reds manager. Glad to see a quality guy get the award. I also think Bochy did an incredible job as well, but Johnson had the most to overcome.

Not to quibble, but Fay is reporting Dusty finished second in the voting.
Doesn't make much difference, but it seems Dusty was two and Bochy was three. I haven't read much about it, not sure which is correct, really. |
