Re: Your all-time favorite Red?
Faults and all, it's still Pete.
Mario Soto is a close second. I was a pitcher and loved watching him pitch. Of course in the early 80's he was about the only reason to watch the reds! |

My lifelong love affair with the Reds started with #14.

Re: Your all-time favorite Red?
Bench followed closely by Larkin. Rijo is probably my favorite Reds pitcher.

Pete Rose. Hands down. He was/is a very flawed human being but he was a role model inside the white lines.

Re: Your all-time favorite Red?
My dad was in Pharmacy School in Cincy, said Klu had a bar at one time and he use to go and drink with him after he got out of classes/work at nights.

Re: Your all-time favorite Red?
Now that right there is funny.....I don't care who ya are
![]() For me it is Johnny and Davey, followed by Tony and Pete. When I played I was a catcher and a SS,(also a pitcher, but man, 'The Bird' was the shiznit) so I emulated the Big Oak, when behind the plate, and loved the way Davey made everything seem routine. |
