Dave Sveum shot in hunting accident...by Robin Yount....

http://espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/story...nting-accident

Quote:
"The bird was in front of him and I was about 50 yards up on a hill," Sveum said Tuesday at baseball's winter meetings. "He got the bird up and lost track of where I was. He pulled the trigger and was like, 'Uh, oh.' "
Lol. It's got the cubs written all over it.

Maybe Sveum should have played a position other than SS. This is why Ernest Riles never goes hunting with Yount.

I know the guy manages the Cubs but I'm not sure that's a reason to shoot him.

This almost seems like a microcosm of that fail of a franchise.
