Re: Reds in deep talks for Shin-soo Choo

2012 player slaries
Stubbs $527,500 - similiar #'s in 2013
Choo 4,900,00 (3.9 mill in 2013 - can't hardly believe he would get a 1 mill paycut from 12')

This will prob eat up the majority of the expendable income for 2013 (not sure of the 2013 salaries)

Not sure where you are getting those #'s...

mlbtraderumors has Stubbs projected to get $2.9M in arbitration and Choo to get $7.9M

Donald looks useful. He and H-Rod will likely be fighting for a similar role come next season, but he's going to be a nice upgrade over Valdez.

Hell yes..can't believe we found a potential taker for Stubss. Although I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried about him at CF, he is at best an average RF'er.

I would be shocked if Stubbs gets $3 million in arbitration. -0.2 WAR. But then again Greinke got $25 million a year for being a #2-#3 starter...I guess anything is possible...
