Re: Official RedsZone Television Viewing Thread

Anyone watching American Horror Story:Asylum? I didn't see season 1, but I heard that they're using the same characters, but in different roles for season 2? that would seem akward, but since I didn't see season 1, I don't have that issue. I've seen the first 1.5 episodes this season, and its pretty good at striking up some irrational fear and nervousness.

Great show. Unexpectedly gritty and very well written.

Seen a handful more episodes and I'm really liking it. Sure its got a lot of the cheesy horro movie cliche's and plot flaws, but like I said in terms of striking up some irrational fear and nervousness, it does a remarkable job for a standard cable TV show.

It always amazes me that this show was created by the same guy that does Glee.

Homeland Season 2 finale this Sunday. This is going to be a really important episode for this show. I've really liked this season, but if they don't play this right it could be a "jump the shark" 24 type moment.

I'm sad to say I think Homeland already jumped the shark. I didn't even bother watching this week's episode, at some point I'll finish out season 2 but I'm in no hurry. It basically turned into 24, and I thought I'd signed up for something a little better.

Wife and I started watching Sherlock, and I'd highly recommend it just based on the first episode. Really clever.

Totally agree. The worst part is that there aren't many episodes.

Re: Official RedsZone Television Viewing Thread

So this is a shameless plug, but my wife is a producer on NBC's new show. It is called "Deception" and it stars Megan Good, Victor Garber, Tate Donovan and eventually John Laroquette. It starts Monday at 10pm. I've seen the first 6 episodes and I promise it's worth your time. So please watch and DVR it and watch it again and tell your friends to do the same

Re: Official RedsZone Television Viewing Thread

Is anyone watching American Horror Story this season? First season was amazingly good...

This season is good, I suppose, but it's a ton of what I would have to describe as "torture porn." I'm amazed what they can show on cable nowadays...

I'm really enjoying this season. Very different from the first and I suspect the third season will be completely different from the second. I liked the first season better but appreciate what they've done with the same cast this year.
