Things I dislike.

The board, on the whole, has been much too optimistic recently.

Here are a few things I dislike about the Reds:

1. With the trade for Choo, the team will be getting on base too much and thus clogging up the bases. This will lead to too many rally killing multi home runs.

2. Joey Votto's coffee addiction.

3. Mike Leake's fancy t-shirt addiction.

4. -m sure Marty has grown the do back. I like bald marty, as long as I don't have to listen to him.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a few gripes!


I dislike that the 2nd baseman will hit 2nd instead of the SS.

I dislike that the first 6 hitters will go L-R-L-R-L-R

I dislike that there have been no reports of Broxton being in the best shape of his life

I dislike that every time I hear Arredondo's name, I have to say it like Lady Gaga singing "Alejandro"

Clear proof that he doesn't want it bad enough. I mean best shape of his life isn't even a particularly high bar to clear.

This is why there's spring training. You have work to do to get yourself into mid-season form.

I dislike:

- Not being able to complain about Stubbs' strikeouts being the bane of all existence
- Joey Votto not being walked as often
- Aroldis Chapman having to face more than 3 or 4 batters at a time
- Having relatively little, if anything, to actually complain about

I dislike that pitchers and catchers are in sunny weather and its snowing in ohio

I dislike that its only February and opening day isnt tomorrow

Oh and I still dislike the Cardinals

I dislike anyone involved in some capacity with baseball having the last name Carpenter.

And I dislike the WBC.

I dislike the reminder with the beginning of Spring Training, I still have 4 months of winter to look forward to. I will risk my garden again this year and plant on June 1, probably only to have everything zapped by a freeze.

But in that cold, I will have watched as many Reds games on mlb.tv via the internet as possible. Now those days in Montana before the internet, those were some tough days. Just had to wait for ESPN to tell me if they won or lost.

Hick Carpenter is the 2nd for the Reds leader (all time) of games played at 3rd. Which is kinda sad when you think about it, it highlights the Reds weakness at 3rd, Carpenter last played in 1892, died in 1937 and was a LEFT HANDED 3rd baseman who probably never used a glove.

I guess I dislike the Reds history at 3rd base, full of short timers (Rose, Sabo, Bell, Rolen, Boone, Helms, Freese, Hoak, Werber, Perez, Hatton) and not one player with 1000 games played at 3rd for the franchise. (They have 5 SS with 1150 plus)

I resemble that remark!

Name change was to avoid confusion or offense caused by my Sundeck name being similar to an ORG member -- that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
