It's a short list, but he's been hands down the best commissioner in my lifetime.
IMO Bud has been reactionary instead of proactive. The NFL laid the groundwork for most of the technological advances that MLB adapted. The All-Star game, the steroid era, and not to forget a canceled World Series. I think baseball did a good job of taking advantage of a technological boom, one they did nothing to create.

I will not consider baseball to be in a new "Golden Age" until kids stop quitting baseball to play basketball, football, soccer, and even lacrosse.
