With the recent shift in the division, they should be.

Though I guess when you can win a World Series with 80 wins, I guess you don't need to worry about anything.

Rule change, really.

It counts. They were world champions with less wins than anybody.

So i guess the Ravens didn't actually win the Super Bowl?

Or Danny Manning's Jayhawks didn't really win the National title?

I clearly stated it counts.

It counts as a World Seies with 80 regular season wins.

Its a legitimate question mark, I wasn't making any conclusions. There are also several for whom these symptoms are just the beginning. Who knows, guess we'll have to wait and see, huh?

For most of the decade of the 00's, Houston and Chicago was the primary focus. They were the top teams competing with the Cardinals. A Houston vs. St. Louis matchup was of more importance in the eyes of those fans in the mid-00's than a St. Louis/Cincy matchup. Sorry if this seems as arrogant but it's the way it is. I'm sure that last year, Cincy fans were more pumped up about a Reds/Cards matchup than they were a Reds/Astros matchup. Not all teams are of equal importance if your team is at the top of the food chain.

Oh, and the booing of BP has diminished overtime and isn't as much as it was back years ago.
Admit snobbery in your own defense, then refer it to as a silly characterization? That is what is silly.

Back to the actual thread topic: From MLB.com:

Quote:
Right-hander Shelby Miller returned to the mound on Friday for a 25-pitch bullpen session that went seamlessly, just days after Miller had to be slowed down due to shoulder soreness...."My arm feels really good," Miller said afterward...the next day or so will provide an even better barometer of Miller's status.

It's a bit different to say that some teams don't get the type of attention from Cardinals fans simply because they aren't competing with them for anything of importance than it is to say that Cardinals fans don't care about anyone other than themselves and the Cubs. The latter is silly because it's not true where as the former is more the realistic assertion.
