Who said anything about throwing people out? I did not.

I am sorry New York Red, but the defensive claim of "banning" or "censorship" does not apply here.

Using a simple, and I believe an apt analogy... If you are called out for constantly talking during the movie at a theater, why not just adjust? Is this really a time for an "I gotta be me" declaration?

Are you saying that using negative hyperbole about the Reds on a Reds message board is so ingrained in you that you cannot adjust? I certainly hope not.

All of us, myself more than most, have committed social faux pas... The sign of maturity is how you react.

I am not, in any way, claiming to be holier than thou... I have thought many of the same negative hyperbole about the teams I root for... But experience has taught me that voicing those knee jerk reactions to the crowd is being just that... a Jerk. I have been that Jerk and not realized it until someone had the guts to point it out to me.

I urge you to go through baseball's history and see how many managers can claim that. You'll find it's not a ton.

Regardless, it's still silly. There's no logic as to a manager being any more or less capable of managing in the postseason. It's the same game. Same strategy. Same goal. Same rules.
