“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

They're both AAAA players who can't really hit, and can play all three outfield spots. Danny Dorn gets on base at a .364 clip in the minors and went to Cal State Fullerton! They have a lot in common. Danny Dorn is in fact Nimmo's doppleganger. A ton more power for Dorn though.

I apologize if this has already been posted, but I thought this was an encouraging discussion of Herrera.

The article concludes that he could be "a very good second baseman," so hopefully he only needs some regular at-bats to make good on his potential.

Is anyone else wondering how a guy (Votto) isn't "driving the ball" while currently posting the second highest Line Drive rate and fourth highest HR per FB rate among all MLB qualifiers? Of course, he also boasts the fourth highest Hard% hit rate of all MLB qualifiers.

I mean, if you're doing all that you are either driving the ball or have somehow figured out how to take control of gravity and space-time. I'm gonna' go with the former, but it's Votto...so the latter could be the answer too I guess..

Baseball Prospectus compares the delivery to Chris Sale. So, that means he'll be just as good as Chris sale, right? Right? Please?
