After falling on Wednesday, Thelma Riley banged on walls and shouted for help for hours, said Lt. James McCluskey. "The neighbors at first thought it was a plumber," he said. Neighbors finally used a key to get into the apartment, finding Riley with the four-pronged knob stuck in her lower back, the Daily News reported. Firefighters cut the metal tap with bolt cutters and took her to Harlem Hospital where it was removed. "It was in there pretty good," McCluskey said. Riley was resting at the Harlem Hospital on Thursday.

And in other news..
A lady recently got her toe stuck in the drain as she finished her bath. Despite her husbands valient attempts at freeing her from the prediciment, he was forced to call 9-1-1 for help. Before help could arrive, the embarrassed woman asked for something to cover herself with. Quickly thinking, the husband handed her his hat. As the paramedics arrived, the woman placed the hat over her lap. The lead paramedic, after surveying the scene stated, "We can save the toe but the guy in the hat is a goner."
