Happy Earth Day.
"We all have a stake--equally. Because if we do not save the environment and save the Earth, then whatever we do in civil rights or in a war against poverty will be of no meaning, because then we will have the equality of extinction and the brotherhood of the grave."

Re: Happy Earth Day.
I went to the first Earth Day 1970 at Miami University. NRBQ played. I smoked pot. Along with eleventy-bazillion other people there. It was like Woodstock.
Trivia question: what does the abbreviation NRBQ stand for?

Re: Happy Earth Day.
Here's a humbling excercise:
Footprint Calculator I thought I'd do well. I don't have a car, live in apartment, etc.. But it would still take 3.4 worlds to sustain a population of me's.

4.6 planets.
I am disappointed. I feel so tree-huggish. To make myself feel better... I will take a 1/2 day of vacation and drive a few hundred miles in my car.

Re: Happy Earth Day.
Just for giggles, I tried to max out the number of planets someone could use:
I got 19.9 planets. Can anybody beat that?
