Novak Storms off CNN Set

Hilarious.

http://thinkprogress.org/2005/08/04/...s-live-on-cnn/

Quote:
Just now on CNN’s Inside Politics, in the midst of a ho-hum discussion about Katherine Harris’ Senate race:

Novak: Just let me finish what I’m going to say, James, please. I know you hate to hear me —

Carville: He’s got to show these right-wingers that he’s got a back bone, ya know? Wall Street Journal editorial page is watching. You show ‘em you’re tough…

Novak: You know I think that’s ********. And I hate that. Just let it go.

Novak removes his microphone and walks off the set.

Seems like the pressure is getting to Novak.

I'm no fan of Novak, but Carville is the missing link they're looking for on another thread.

Carville's a troll, but traitors' knuckles drag the ground more often. It's scientifically proven.

How Judith Miller is behind bars, while Novak (who started this whole Plame mess) walks free is beyond me.

It is awesome. I'm only partly kidding. I have an unnatural fascination with the puppet animation of Ray Harryhausen.

And that statement has what to do with Kathleen Harris and her run for office? Oh well. I know that Carville and Novak are not politicians anyhow... just talkers.

However, it sounds like a personal attack. If Carville said that in the RZ non-BB side, he would get a warning about being suspended. But par for the course for James and his fellow mouthpieces. If you cannot give something of substance, then come forth with one-liners and personal attacks. Sounds like James needs to stay on the topic at hand or find something of substance to say about the topic at hand.

I think James should ask Robert where he got that backbone. Perhaps that place can get James a new face?!?

It hasn't been revealed yet since those proceedings are sealed, but Novak probably spilled everything he knew to the grand jury in exchange for immunity.

Well if anyone would know about personal attacks...

Yeah, those Democrats need to ease up on the ad hominen attacks. They have the market cornered on those. I heard the patent office will be issuing them protection from copyright infringement.

Ah... but there is a difference, Dom. I am not talking or typing to James Carville. James, on this CNN show, was talking to Robert Novak with who knows how many viewers. And James was not talking about the issue, Katherine Harris, when he upset Robert. James, a smart man in his own right, lowered himself to a Michael Moore level.

I wish Robert would have said something like, "James, if political talk doesn't work out perhaps you can become a comedian. However, I would not expect you to be successful at it without a good writer. You own material just isn't funny. Now can we discuss the issue that brought us here?"

But this is why I do not take much credence in the TV mouthpieces. I like to make up my own mind and not let some overpaid-talker tell me their opinion.
