CINCINNATI -- Police said a man abducted one or two children outside a Cincinnati post office Friday night and drove off with them in the trunk of his car, according to WLWT-TV in Cincinnati.

Police issued an Amber Alert after two postal workers said they observed a man forcing a screaming girl, 5 to 7 years old, into his trunk in the parking lot. They told police another child may already have been in the trunk, WLWT-TV reported.

Police are looking for a red or maroon Honda Accord with temporary tags.

The driver is said to be a white man with sandy blond hair, about 6 feet tall and 160 to 170 pounds. He was said to be wearing a white T-shirt and tan khakis.

Anyone with information is asked to call (877) AMBER-OH or 911.

Turns out that the kids were playing in the car, and that they were not kidnapped.

When the said Honda Accord with Temp Tags, I figured it was probably a couple kids who probably were in the trunk and then crawled into the passenger compartment, with the seat folded down. This is at least the second time an Amber Alert has been issued in Greater Cincy for this situation.

It's the second Amber Alert in Cincinnati in two days... this one ended on a high note; the first one didn't. The little girl, not yet two years old, was beaten to death after abducted by her father.

The one yesterday sounded bad from the start. The described the father as "unstable". That proved true.
