I've been to a few. Quite good, but don't fill up on the salad bar.

Re: The Melting Pot

We had one of those Brazilian grill places that was not far from me-until it closed about a year ago. I always wanted to go but the $30/head price tag kept me away. In retrospect, it would have been cheaper (and less work ) than The Melting Pot.

I'm a fan of the Mongolian grill places, too. We have a local chain that's been around for a few years, plus we got our first HuHot location a couple of months back. I always score some tofu and glass noodles in my mix there. Good stuff.

There is one near the sawmill 161 intersection. 161 is, essentially 33 coming in from Marysville (its not actually 33, but they overlap for a bit).

I just ate at one (Texas Brazil or something like that) in Addison, TX when I was there a week or so ago. You are right on about not eating much from the salad bar.
