We had our own Puppy Bowl. It involves the whole family. The dog gets a toy that the kids have left on the floor and we all chase him around the house trying to get it from him. I'm sure it would be quite entertaining for all.

I think we have gone back to the 50s era with all this censorship.

I enjoyed Fleetwood Mac's set with the USC marching band. Something like that mixture would be enjoyable to watch.

It must be harder during baseball season, with the time between innings being notably shorter than halftime of a football game.

The Stones are amazing. Can't believe they would put up with that garbage from the NFL though. But who knows.

With the game in Detroit, quite frankly I'm surprised that Eminem didn't do the halftime show.

Re: Stones Slam Super Bowl Censorship

Funny, all you folks complaining about the Stones being a poor choice did watch the performance

Really, they can't make everyone happy. I think the Stones were a good choice. There was too much noise where I was at, so I couldn't hear them, but if nothing else, they are interesting to watch on stage and generate a buzz.

A marching band or something vanillia like that would make a lot of Americans change the channel. Got to keep people tuned in for the ads during halftime.

I loved it. I thought it to be a refreshing change from all the correographed junk they've had in recent years.

No, they didn't sound as good as they would have in a music hall, but at least they didn't lip sync (and if they had, most would be complaining about that as well).

You make an excellent point, and I was impressed by this as well.

I think there is one thing we can all agree on - the Stones are the ugliest group of guys I have ever seen. If I was a girl, the first thing I'd say to one of them is "You better be filthy rich!". It doesn't matter if they are 22 or 62.
