Is something wrong with BJ Szymanski?

I know its early, but he is playing absolutely horrible at the plate. He is hitting .152 and has 18 strikeouts in 33 at bats. He is somewhat repeating the year, since he was hurt so often last year. However he is struggling badly. Has anyone seen him play this year and seen something in his swing that doesnt look right? I have yet to see the Dragons play this year and cant seem to make since of him struggling so bad.

HAHA! He has never really shown that hitting potential, but goodness he hasnt ever shown that he strikes out more than once every two plate appearances either.

when he was drafted he was considered the best athlete in the draft but there were serious questions about his ability to hit. DanO was the one that took the bait. He was not an advanced player for college.

Yeah, but it still makes no sense that he is striking out at the rate he is, when he never has before, even with him repeating this year in Dayton. It isnt like he jumped a level and is facing tougher competition, he is just baffled it seems.
