Who was the guy....
that the Reds signed late in spring training, that was coming off a long suspension for drugs? I think he was from the Tampa organization and the Reds said they were giving him a last chance and would have a zero tolerance policy with him.
Anyone remember who he was, and if so, I wonder how he's turned out so far?

Re: Who was the guy....
Alex Sanchez. He was the first major leaguer to be suspended for steroids.
He's currently hitting .333/.328/.524 with no walks in 63 atbats with Chattanooga. He also went just 1-for-12 in Louisville with no walks. He's a pretty bad player and the Reds only signed him as minor league fodder. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/a...pbp&pid=400128

Re: Who was the guy....
Good average, good speed, no walks, no power, and average defense. Reminds me a similar player who is looking for a job...

Re: Who was the guy....
Mattox hasn't been sighted this season. He's either in extended spring training or was released.
